Angelina Jolie's ex-boyfriend Billy Bob Thornton wants to work with Brad Pitt

Proof that 2016 is the plot twist that just keeps giving, Angelina Jolie’s ex-boyfriend, Billy Bob Thornton, has sensationally revealed that he wants to work with her estranged husband, Brad Pitt.

Angelina filed for divorce from Brad back in September, with sources claiming that there was an altercation between Brad and their eldest child, 15-year-old Maddox.

The actor was investigated by social services whilst Ange maintained full physical custody of Maddox and their other five children, 12-year-old Pax, 11-year-old Zahara, 10-year-old Shiloh and twins Knox and Vivienne, eight.

The pair have since reached a temporary custody agreement and now Billy Bob has spoken out about his career goals.

Speaking to Playboy magazine, the actor revealed: “This might surprise people, but I’d love to do a movie with Brad Pitt. I think we’d be great together. We’d play a couple of Southern guys.”

He went on to add that his ex seemed “okay” amid her divorce drama, explaining: “She’s seems, you know, OK to me when I talk to her. I don’t talk to her that often though. You know? Once in a blue moon we come together.

“Every now and then we talk, you know? Whatever. But when people are going through their trials and tribulations I try to leave them alone unless they want to talk to me.

“In other words, I figure it’s none of my business. Unless someone makes it my business it’s none of my business.”

A representative for Angelina recently released a statement, saying of the star’s divorce: “Angelina said from the beginning that she felt she had to take action for the health of the family and is relieved that after their 8-week involvement, the DCFS is now satisfied the safeguards are put in place that will allow the children to heal.”
