Angry cyclist films law-flouting and dangerous antics of fellow bikers

An enraged cyclist has shamed his fellow bikers - by filming their law-breaking and dangerous acts on the road.

The unnamed cyclist turned the camera on his fellow road-users and captured them jumping red lights, going the wrong way up one-way streets, and using phones while pedaling away.

His compilation video filmed on the streets of York even features a cyclist going head-over-heels after trying to take his jacket off while on the move.

The jacket gets caught in the cyclist's front wheel and he ends up performing a somersault on the busy street, before later getting up uninjured.

Other misdemeanors include cyclists cutting-up motorists, riding without their hands on the handlebars, riding down footpaths and through red lights.

The man who filmed the footage over three weeks in York city centre hasn’t revealed his name - for fear of a backlash from cyclists.

He said: ‘I am tired of watching cyclists breaking the rules of the Highway Code and endangering not only themselves but other road users.’

He promised his film, ‘York Cyclists’ was just the first episode of a series and that he would be creating more.

The mystery filmmaker said his future videos wouldn’t just be about bad cycling, but also bad behavior by motorists and even pedestrians.
