Annual West Lothian family fun day and football match will help cancer charities

A charity fun day and football match will be held again this year to money for Macmillan and Marie Curie Cancer Support.

The event is organised each year by Ryan Flannigan, his wife Laura (pictured with son Oscar) and their family in memory of Laura’s dad Terry McMillan and last year it raised over £3000.

Terry passed away in February 2019 after being diagnosed with lung cancer three years earlier.

The even t will be held on May 26 in Armadale at Watson Park (Corrie Park).

There will be lots to do on the day.

The Animal Experience will be there with their alpacas Shetland ponies, pygmy goats etc and there will also be a DJ, face painter, stalls and food vans and ice cream vendors.

The annual football fixture against the ‘Scotland’s YouTube’’ team at Armadale juniors pitch kicks off at 4.30pm and spectators are asked for a donation to watch.
