Ant McPartlin smiles at wife Anne Marie's baby bump on lunch date with footballer pal

Ant McPartlin and his wife Anne-Marie Corbett looked in good spirits as they joined former professional footballer Jamie Redknapp for a spot of lunch at The River Cafe in London. The Saturday Night Takeaway star and Anne-Marie are currently expecting their first child together.

Ant, 48, was wearing a blue overshirt with black jeans and black trainers. Anne-Marie, meanwhile, sported a grey cardigan, T-shirt and black satin skirt that covered her bump neatly.

Jamie and his own wife Frida Andersson, who wed in 2021, also seemed happy as they enjoyed a day out in the English capital. The couple have a young son together. Jamie was previously married to pop star Louise Redknapp and they share two sons.

Ant recently returned to screens in ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent alongside Declan. A week previously they’d waved goodbye to Saturday Night Takeaway after 20 series.

Ant & Dec announced that Saturday Night Takeaway would be ‘taking a break’ last year. "The show takes up such a lot of our year. We just feel we need a little bit of a breather and that the show is going to take a little bit of a rest," Dec explained in a social media video at the time.

Saturday Night Takeaway previously took a break between 2009 and 2013, before coming back bigger and better for the last decade. ITV boss Kevin Lygo reacted to the announcement by saying: "When you think of Saturday night television you think of Saturday Night Takeaway. Over 20 series the show has become a cultural phenomenon, and while we eagerly anticipate what Ant & Dec have up their sleeves for the 2024 series, we completely understand their desire to take a pause, take stock, and think about what the next incarnation of the show might look like.” You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.
