Ant McPartlin and wife Anne-Marie Corbett have welcomed their first child, and revealed the baby's unique name. The couple, who wed in 2021, shared their news on Instagram, having kept their pregnancy journey private.

Anne-Marie, 46, gave birth to a baby boy. In a black and white photo posted on Instagram, Ant is seen cradling their newborn son. Alongside the image, they disclosed their son's name in the caption, expressing their happiness: "Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick McPartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am Baby is beautiful, Mummy's a legend, Sisters are ecstatic. Dad's overwhelmed."

Celebrity friends quickly poured in with messages of congratulations. TV star Davina McCall wrote: "Arggggghhhhhhhhhh! ! ! ! This is AMAZING ! ! ! ! Congratulations to ALL of you.", reports the Mirror. Fred Sirieix from First Dates commented: "Congrats."

Dancer Ashley Banjo said: "Congrats guys," and comedian Joel Dommett added: "I LOVE THIS." A fan also expressed their joy, saying: "I've never been so happy for someone I've never met. You're going to be the best daddy Ant."

Anne-Marie, Ant's former personal assistant, has two children from a previous relationship. Ant separated from ex-wife Lisa Armstrong after 23 years of marriage and publicly stepped out with Anne-Marie as his new partner in March 2018. His desire to have children was well known, and he previously expressed sadness over the possibility of not being able to have his own.

In a 2013 interview with Radio Times, Ant discussed his and Lisa's fertility struggles, revealing, "There's a rumour that we do everything together and I'm holding off having kids till Dec finds himself Mrs Right. I love that idea, but I'm afraid it's not true. Lisa and I would love to have kids. We're trying."
