Antifascists claimed to have ‘tracked down’ a man wearing a Nazi armband – and then felled him with a single punch after he shouted racist abuse.

As with many such viral stories, it’s difficult to verify the details – what’s certain is that a man wearing a swastika armband was pictured on a bus in Seattle.

A video and image posted separately show what appear to be same man being knocked unconscious and lying in the street – and police confirmed this.

Twitter users claim to have joined in ‘the hunt’ for the alleged Nazi – then an extremely violent video shows the alleged Nazi being punched in the face.

The video was followed by an image of the man unconscious in the street.

Seattle Police claim that they received reports of a man shouting racial slurs – then found him unconscious on the ground.

Seattle Police said, ‘Around 4pm Sunday, SPD received reports of a man wearing a swastika armband, instigating fights at 3rd Ave / Pine.

‘Police were on scene in 5 mins & found him on the ground. He declined to provide info about incident & left after removing his armband

‘No one else at the scene contacted officers to make a report about the incident.’
