'Daddy's Boy!' Jessica Simpson's Son Models Dad Eric Johnson's Football Helmet for Show & Tell

Jessica Simpson‘s 4-year-old son Ace Knute is “Daddy’s boy” – and Simpson’s got the proof!

Johnson, a former NFL tight end who was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in 2001 and went on to play for the New Orleans Saints before leaving the sport in 2008, gave Ace his old 49rs helmet for the presentation.

“He played football,” Ace said before plopping the helmet on his own head to the cheers of his classmates.

Fitting well under that helmet was Ace’s shaggy blond locks, which were chopped for the first time in his young life this September.

“First haircut,” Simpson captioned a photo of the cut, which removed a significant amount of inches from Ace’s previous shoulder-length ‘do. “Thanks @jessieholiday for making my stud look all grown up.’

Meanwhile, Ace may be “daddy’s boy,” but he’s also close with his 5-year-old sister Maxwell “Maxi” Drew.

On Nov. 15, Simpson posted a photo of the two siblings as they hugged and smiled for the camera.

It was a picture perfect moment, but Simpson hinted that things between the brother and sister might not always be as peaceful. “Don’t let them fool ya,” she captioned the photo.
