'London just got more expensive': Uber users hit out at shock TfL licence decision
Furious Londoners have hit out at the decision to strip Uber of its licence.
The ride-hailing app is used by 3.5 million people in London, but could be stopped from operating within weeks.
The decision followed criticism from black cab drivers, who reacted with glee to the ruling after claiming Ube was impacting on trade and putting Londoners' safety at risk.
But many Londoners hit out at the decision, saying it means they will have to rely on “rip off” black cabs or the night bus to get home.
Great, back to the rip off black cab monopoly, ill miss you uber if no one else will #Uber

Consumers overwhelmingly support car-sharing services such as #uber – If @tfl thinks not giving them a license changes that, it won't
