I'm a Celebrity viewers are definitely noticing a rising tension in camp over Noel Edmonds's refusal to follow the most basic of rules.

Many were expecting fireworks from the off when the former Deal or No Deal presenter arrived in camp last week, but he's largely made friends with everyone (aside from some off-colour jokes that rubbed some the wrong way).

However, cracks started to show in Monday's (November 26) episode over the chores. Specifically, Noel clashed with Nick over how the water was technically supposedly to be boiled.

Nick wanted Noel to flip the lid on the boiling bot to ensure that the water stayed fresh throughout the process - but Noel paid him no mind. Noel also seemed not to care about the rule that three people had to be around the fire at all times for safety purposes.

"Nick's doing a great job reminding us of the regulations, delegating extremely well, making the right decisions, all the hallmarks of a great leader," Noel snickered at one point.

Later, Nick and Harry both spotted that Noel had clearly abandoned the fire to go wandering around the campsite. When Nick called him up on the error, Noel sheepishly made an excuse claiming that there were three people watching the fire.

Lying, he answered: "Yes, we've got three up there."

"Who is up there then, Malique and Emily? That's not three," Nick called him out. "I'm not giving you a hard time because I want to give you a hard time."

Realising he'd been caught, Noel stormed off back to the fire site quipping: "God forbid I get an endorsement on my celebrity licence."

Although bystander Harry Redknapp seemed to take Nick's side in the moment, he complained in the Bush Telegraph later on: "Nick's a stickler for the rules and we have to do as we are told."

Fans are already predicting more conflict to come:

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! continues on Tuesday (November 27) at 9pm on ITV, followed by Extra Camp on ITV2.
