UPDATE - Leicestershire Police confirmed on Monday (April 29) that Leandra and Angelina had been located and were both "safe and well". Officers thanked everyone who shared their appeals for help.

An appeal to find two missing Leicestershire sisters has been launched by police. Leandra and Angelina Kuhl, from Ibstock, near Coalville, were last seen in the early hours of Tuesday (April 23) and were reported missing to police later that day.

However, police said that despite a number of inquiries, officers had yet to trace the pair, who are thought to be travelling together. They have now released an image of 15-year-old Leandra and 14-year-old Angelina and called on anyone with information to contact the force as soon as possible.

Leandra, who goes by the name Chanel, is around 5ft 7ins and has very long brown hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be wearing a long skirt, black jumper and silver shoes.

Angelina is also around 5ft 7ins and has shoulder-length blonde hair and blue eyes. It is unclear what she was wearing at the time she went missing, said police.

The sisters are believed to be in possession of three bags. One is black with red zips, one is blue and green with a 'Trolls' design and the third is purple with white flowers on it.

Anyone who knows where the sisters are should call Leicestershire Police on 101, quoting incident number 242 of April 23. Alternatively, information can be provided on the force’s website.
