Pristine turquoise waters, tropical weather and friendly locals - this isn’t the regular setting of a graduate scheme.

But that’s because Tourism Fiji is offering one lucky applicant the chance to spend a month in its tropical paradise as part of a grad scheme.

While it's like other grad schemes in that you will be taught the essential skills to get ahead in the working world, this is billed as being ‘far from the norm’.

If successful, during your time in Fiji you will get a large amount of hands-on experience, including teaching children and teaming up with specialists to work on the conservation of the rich, local wildlife. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the culture and heritage of the local people as well as being placed within the Tourism Fiji team to gain valuable experience from them.

This opportunity is only available to UK-based applicants who are in their final year of university or who have just graduated from university and not yet in full time work.

To apply, all you need to do is upload a 30-second video on something you’re passionate about to the social media platform of your choice with the hashtag #Degree2Fiji. In the video you will also include the subjects you studied at university and which university you studied at.

Successful video applicants will then be invited for an interview before heading off to Fiji in June.
