Sunday’s Ulster SFC final meeting between Armagh and Donegal is a sellout with no further tickets being made available for general sale online.

Supporters from Armagh and Donegal might have been hoping for a release of tickets online this week, as has been the case for other in-demand games this season.

However, earlier on Wednesday, a short statement from the Ulster Council confirmed that no tickets will be released on general sale with 28,750 tickets distributed via the participating counties, clubs and to season ticket holders.

This means that some fans will miss out, even if they’ve attended previous Championship games, but are not members of a GAA club.

Armagh are appearing in their second successive Ulster final after losing out to Derry on penalties in last year’s decider at St Tiernach’s Park.

The Orchard County have a huge fanbase which is likely to be matched by the travelling Donegal support on Sunday.

Jim McGuinness’s side ended Derry’s reign as Ulster champions before beating Tyrone after extra-time while they also edged out Armagh in the Division Two final at Croke Park at the end of March.

Meanwhile, the GAA have introduced a three-game ticket bundle package for the forthcoming All-Ireland SFC group games and Tailteann Cup games.

Fans will be able to get tickets for their county’s three group games for €50 for the Sam Maguire games and €30 for the Tailteann Cup.
