Arsenal player ratings vs Wolves as David Raya and Gabriel Jesus show up for below par Gunners

David Raya: Not called upon often but superb when he was. The save from Gomes in the first half in particular was brilliant, while his stop from Lemina in the second was necessary. 7.

Ben White: Very rarely troubled defensively, but not at his best offensively. Got into the final third on several occasions but his final ball was a bit lacking. 6.

William Saliba: One bizarre mistake gave Wolves a free effort on goal that Bueno missed. Decent aside from that as he was rarely tested by Wolves. 6.

Gabriel: Steady enough at the back. No obvious flaws from the Brazilian. Stayed switched on as Arsenal needed to defend more towards the end. 6.

Jakub Kiwior: Not the best game for the Pole. Lost a few early duels with Doherty and was poor to give Gomes the ball for his chance that hit the post. Better second half, but the left back spot remains very much up for grabs for Arsenal. 5.

Declan Rice: A steady if unspectacular day for the England international. Could have had a goal with a shot from distance, but looks to have hardly anything left in the tank right now. Still found a final bit of energy to be superb late on. 7.

Martin Odegaard: Looked pretty tired for the most part here. Can't blame him after how much he's played recently. Still some decent offensive contributions including a crucial goal at the end. 6.

Kai Havertz: Still doesn't look at his best in midfield. On another day could have had two goals with better finishing, but he is much more valuable to the build up as a nine. 6.

Bukayo Saka: Some decent moments in the first half, but a largely quiet day for the England international. Another who looks a little fatigued at the moment. 6.

Gabriel Jesus: Worked really hard as ever, and his movement caused Wolves problems. At the heart of much of Arsenal's offensive threat. 7.

Leandro Trossard: Whether he meant the goal or not it's another crucial contribution from the Belgian. Could have had more if his shooting boots had been on, but a decent display overall. 7.

Gabriel Martinelli: Very quiet after his introduction. Wolves grew into the game when he was on the pitch, but not really through any wrongdoing on his part. 6

Thomas Partey: Came on too late to influence the game. n/a.
