The mystery surrounding the appearance of a mural at the side of a Nuneaton house has been solved. Passers-by spotted the makings of the art work in Heath End Road yesterday morning (April 23).

Within just a matter of hours a huge amount of work had taken place. Initially there was just a couple of blue-coloured flowers on the giant wall.

But by yesterday afternoon, a giant daisy as well as two birds with the outline of another had been added to the wall. Locals saw a crane being used to create the stunning work.

CoventryLive can confirm that the work has been arranged by The Reel People community group. We have been told that the project is due to be complete by this weekend.

The group, led by James Bennett, has been behind some incredible art work projects across the town, from music icons in the beer garden at the Blue Bear pub to the murals of giraffes and even a chip-pondering sea gull at Ropewalk car park as well as the wall in honour of Azaylia Cain.
