Asda 'do not eat' alert as shoppers warned over 'unsafe' seafood
Asda shoppers are being warned not to eat one of its seafood products over fears it is 'unsafe'. The supermarket is recalling its Asda Succulent Cooked & Peeled King Prawns.
The product has been labelled with an 'incorrect use-by date', which means they are not safe to eat. The correct use-by date is actually April 21.
Pack sizes of 201g, with the batch code L66000 and use-by date of December 21, are affected. Shoppers who have purchased the products are now being urged to return them to store for a refund.
