Asda praised over new shopping trolley rules and shoppers say 'finally'

Asda shoppers have flooded the supermarket with praise over new shopping trolley rules - branding it a "game changer". Asda, which is rivalled by Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Lidl, Aldi and more, has been praised by consumers across the country.

Asda has been hailed for its trolleys with three child seats. Dad Alex Galbally took to TikTok and said: "We finally got the triplet trolley from Asda. It's only taken a year, well to be fair they have had it for a few months but we haven't used it.

"Here it is in all its glory. They are all in here." The Galbally family captioned the video: "Triplet trolley at Asda - game changer!" An Asda spokesperson said. "We're pleased to see the Galbally Family are fans of the triplet trolley.

"Any customers looking for a similar trolley should speak to our colleagues in store who will be able to assist." The specially designed 'three child trolley' can safely hold three young children and could be rolled out in Asda stores across the UK after the success of their prototype design.

The trolley was created after Manda Kiernan, 32, revealed the everyday problem parents have when trying to shop with three or more children. Manda explained: "It was a nightmare as I used to have a triple wagon from America that I used to push the triplets in but it just got too heavy to push around the trolley."

"I was also quite excited that I would be able to do a weekly shop with the children as well. The triplets seem to rather like it as well," she said. Asda community colleague Fay Edwards said: "Mrs Kiernan contacted us asking if there was anything that we could do as a company to help her shop with the children as the trollies that we had were not suitable for the triplets."

"After the feedback went to head office, the company set about building a prototype to be used in store"We would like others to come in and try it and they can give us their feedback. Hopefully then we may be able to get more and it may spark other stores to do the same.”
