Asda urges thousands of shoppers to act 'before midnight' on July 31

Asda has warned shoppers and customers to check their loyalty scheme as some rewards could be about to expire. Asda has warned some Asda Cashpots are due expire, and shoppers could lose savings and earnings if they don't take action.

Warning customers on Facebook, a shopper said: "Just wanted to share if you didn't know but your Asda Cashpots do expire!! Mine will be expiring on July 31 if I don't spend it!! I didn't know this but Asda emailed me, so check your pots!"

The message read: "We just wanted to let you know that £3 of your Cashpot balance is due to expire after 23:59 on 31 July 2024. To avoid losing your earnings, simply convert this Cashpot amount into a voucher before this time.

"You can also move your expiring earnings into your Christmas Saver Cashpot to save for Christmas. Asda Pounds are considered spent once converted from Cashpot balance to a voucher using the Wallet tab in the Asda Rewards app.

"You’ll then have 90 days to spend your voucher from the day it is created. Your oldest Cashpot balance will always be used first when creating vouchers - the expiry terms shown on the voucher will apply." On its website, Asda explains the terms and conditions.

Asda says: "With Asda Rewards, you can earn online as well as in store. To get started, download the Asda Rewards app and log in with your existing Asda Groceries account. This will link both accounts, tracking your orders and updating any rewards progress automatically!

"If you’re new to Asda, you can register in the app." To use your Rewards, always scan your Asda Rewards barcode at the checkout - you can find this on the app. This will track your progress as you complete Missions. You can sign up for Asda Rewards using your existing Asda Groceries account.

When you complete an order online, your rewards progress will be tracked.
