Aston Villa suffered an injury blow during their Premier League clash with Chelsea as Youri Tielemans came off in the 27th minute.

The midfielder was barged into by Conor Gallagher some 10 minutes before coming off, but it's unclear whether that relates to why he was taken off. Tielemans appeared to be clutching his groin area when Villa's medical team came on the pitch to see to him.

After a couple of minutes sitting on the pitch, Tielemans was helped up and he hobbled around to the tunnel where he started receiving treatment.

He was replaced by Moussa Diaby, who was dropped to the bench in place of Douglas Luiz for tonight's game against Chelsea after he started in the win over Bournemouth last Sunday.

Tielemans' injury leaves Unai Emery with three options to fill two midfield slots in his side. John McGinn and Luiz, as well as 20-year-old Tim Iroegbunam, who has been used sparingly by Emery this season.
