Atomic Kitten's Jenny Frost has been rushed to hospital after a nasty injury.

The former Snog Marry Avoid host, who now lives in Ibiza, slipped and hit her head on a rock resulting in her having numerous stitches.

Sharing a picture of the wound on Instagram, Jenny wrote: "So on the last day of August & the last day of my besties being here - thought I'd go out with a bang!!! Against a rock!

"Was just a silly fall but when I put my hands out to stop myself - I didn't see the massive rock in between my hands (it was pitch black & literally the only rock within a mile radius)

"Feeling very grateful that its not worse! We are the lucky ones."

Sharing a video on her Instagram Stories, Jenny thanked fans for their messages of support.

"As you can see my face is still really swollen," she added. "And I bashed my mouth as well so I had to go to the dentist yesterday and they put a temporary brace on because my mouth is all bashed up inside."

Jenny recently reunited with her bandmates Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton when they re-released track 'Whole Again' for the Euros, titled 'Southgate You're The One'.

Liz and Natasha founded the band alongside Kerry Katona, who left the band in 2001 after becoming pregnant.

Her departure came just days after the release of 'Whole Again', with Jenny being brought in as her replacement, a new video being filmed and the song going to number one.

They band split in 2004, but reunited for ITV show The Big Reunion in 2012. As Jenny was pregnant at the time, Kerry stepped back in for the show, going on to perform with the band for a few more years.

Kerry claimed in 2018 that she was kicked out of the band, but the other members have disputed the accusations.
