Attempted murder investigation is launched in Kent after man is stabbed

Kent Police have launched an attempted murder investigation following a violent disturbance in Edenbridge, which has left two men in hospital. Kent Police officers were called to the Pine Grove and Coach House Road area, just after 12am on Thursday, May 2.

It is reported that three men arrived at the scene in a black BMW and assaulted two men who appeared to be known to them. The suspects then left the scene in the same vehicle, which has since been seized locally by officers.

One man in his 20s suffered injuries consistent with stab wounds. He was taken to a London hospital where he remains. His condition is described as serious, but stable. A second man, also in his 20s, was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.

Kent Police confirmed that no arrests have been made but an attempted murder investigation has been launched by detectives who want to speak to anyone with information about the incident.
