AN auction with ‘something for every car collector’ is taking place in Dorset later this month.

Vehicles 1905 to 2007 will be in the Charterhouse classic and vintage car auction on June 27.

The eldest car is a 1905 De Dion-Bouton and the latest a 2007 Jaguar XKR coupe.

With convertibles, saloon, estate, coupe, 4x4, camper and tourers in all shapes and sizes, some needing restoration and some on the button, there are more than 60 vehicles to choose from.

Richard Bromell, of Charterhouse, said: “There is something for every car collector, whether a prestige marque like a Lagonda or a daily driver like a Mini.

“With vehicles being sold without reserve to a 1944 Scammell lorry with a showman’s living wagon estimated at £140,000 there is also something for all budgets.”

Viewing for the auction is at the Haynes Motor Museum from 9am with the sale starting at 1pm,.

Charterhouse is now accepting further entries for their busy programme of specialist auctions including pictures, books and decorative arts in July followed by silver, jewellery and watches in August.

Richard Bromell and the Charterhouse team can be contacted for specialist advice and valuations at The Long Street Salerooms in Sherborne, by calling 01935 812277 or by emailing rb@charterhouse-auction.com
