Aussie vets show their animal magnetism in nude charity calendar
A group of Australian student vets have gone all out to raise money for charity – by taking all their clothes off.
The men and women hope sales of their nude calendar – aptly named Vets Uncovered – will raise money and awareness for Tie Up the Black Dog, a charity which helps support people with mental health issues in isolated communities.
According to the Australian Veterinary Association, vets in remote areas of Australia have a higher suicide rate than any other profession.
The Queensland-based student vets hope these pictures by photographer Vicki Miller will encourage others to talk about their mental health struggles.

The group said on their website that “months of organising, planning and of course a class wide fitness and tanning program have gone into the project”, adding that 10 per cent of all profits would be given to the Tie Up The Black Dog foundation.
A spokesperson for the calendar said: “Mental health issues and depression are very important issues in the veterinary industry, with the field now having the highest suicide rate out of any profession.
“It’s worrying that veterinarians now carry up to four times the risk of the general population of committing suicide which is part of the message we would like to raise awareness for with our calendar.”
