Authorities issued evacuation orders as the San Lorenzo River reached “flood stage” in parts of Santa Cruz County, California.

Footage posted to the CHP Santa Cruz Twitter page shows the flooding river and flooded street in Santa Cruz, California.

The CHP said it was preparing for emergency closures of a highway in the region to clear a log jam.
