Avengers: Infinity War casting real cops & firefighters

Marvel is looking for real-life emergency response professionals – police officers, firefighters and EMTs – for Avengers: Infinity War.

Yep, if you're a real-life hero, you can actually be in Infinity War alongside the comic-book heroes – though it only pays $68 for eight hours of work.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution has revealed a new casting call for active roles on an Atlanta set of Infinity War, inviting the real deal to join Thor, Iron Man et al.

The casting call is looking for men and women over the age of 18, and of any ethnicity, who are acting police officers, firefighters and EMTs with "tactical experience".

Filming takes place in downtown Atlanta on July 5-9, though there's also a fitting in Fayetteville during the week of June 12.

To fit in the provided uniforms, men must have a maximum waist size of 36" and women need a dress size of 0-8.

Any real-life heroes who manage to grab a part in Infinity War will be joining the film's gigantic cast, which includes Robert Downey Jr, Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch.

Oh, and there's Samuel L Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie as well.

Avengers: Infinity War will be released on April 27, 2018, and in the US on May 4, 2018.
