Businesses from across Bolton, Bury and Blackburn have been celebrated in the annual Local & Loved Awards.

Organised by Thebestofnorthwest, the awards night was hosted in the Cloisters Suite at the Holiday Inn Bolton.

This was Thebestofnorthwest's second such event to celebrate the achievements of businesses from across the region.

Planned and put together by Faz Patel, the Local & Loved Awards shone a spotlight on businesses over 24 diverse categories.

The night saw Carlo Picasso Decorators Ltd, The Holiday Inn Bolton, and Get Driving Today claim several awards.

Specifically, Carlo Picasso Decorators Ltd emerged triumphant three times, underscoring their meaningful role within the community.

Comedian Colin Manford hosted the ceremony.

Attendees were treated to a performance from Stevie Mandini, his close-up and stage magic making the night magically entertaining.

Thebestofbury members Cosalea and Bolton's Spices & Spirits presented the food for the night.

Distancing itself from the typical awards night menu, Mr Patel and his team curated a memorable feast for the attendees.

Mr Patel, owner of ThebestofNorthwest said: "From all the events I organise and put on, the Local & Loved Awards over the last two years has always been my favourite.

"The joy, happiness, smiles, and even tears (happy tears) from my members is what makes it all worthwhile and meaningful.

"Last night was a great night.

"It reminded me and brought back why I run the businesses and love what I do."

Guests had high praise for the event with several expressing their gratitude.

John Galloway, co-founder of Speed of Sight, said: "Massive appreciation to Faz Patel for putting on this fabulous event.

"We are extremely delighted that Speed of Sight Charity was among the winners.

"Special thanks to all those who voted and everyone involved, our family of supporters."

Joanne Platt, director of sales, Village Hotel, Bury, added: "Great night!

"Great food!

"Great entertainment!

"Great awards!

"Can't wait for 2025!"
