Families will have the chance to step into a world of fairytales and fantasy this summer as two trails are launching at an award-winning nature reserve.

Pensthorpe Natural Park near Fakenham will transform into a magical princess-themed land from July 20 until August 11 before rapidly changing into a rip-roaring crusade inspired by superheroes from August 12 until September 3.

The trails begin at the Discovery Centre and take visitors across the reserve, highlighting techniques that mammals, insects and plants use to thrive.

Ben Marshall, general manager, said: “Our fantastic, themed trails encourage children to explore the great outdoors through interactive activities which highlight the wonders of nature.

“Pensthorpe is absolutely buzzing with life at this time of year and we’re delighted to offer two different experiences for children with different interests and passions over the summer holidays."

Visitors can also enjoy the play areas and pond-dipping and explore the five gardens.

Booking is recommended and tickets cost £16.95 for adults and £15.95 for children aged three to 16.
