B&M has a hack that you may not know about. It could help you find the best deals, and may even let you get items even cheaper.

On TikTok, a bargain hunter content creator, called Nostalgia.2000s1, explained the method in full, which involves downloading the B&M app.

In his video he said, "Come shop with me at B&M. I'll let you in on one of their best-kept secrets that'll enable you to find the best "hidden sales."

"First up you're going to want to find the item you want to scan then head over to the B&M app and at the bottom of the page, press 'scan'. You then scan the barcode of the item and wait for it to load."

"It should then come up with its price," he added, which comes up as £1. He then shows a photo of the front of the item, which was originally priced at £12, but has since been reduced to £10 and now even further to £1.

He said: "I found this Prolex Slow Cooker for £15, but after I scanned it on the app, it is only £6.

"If you aren't using this app, you need to use it now."

He then showed his receipt as proof, telling viewers: "What you see on the app is the price you're going to pay at the till."

Several viewers were left astounded by the savvy shopping tip. LadyH exclaimed: "Omg, I did not know that."

Rekssingh was equally surprised: "Wow I never find any bargains like that!" Daze commented: "Thanks for sharing."

Kimmi acknowledged the helpful advice: "Thanks I didn't know this."

Curiosity bubbled in the comments section as many posed their questions. Elosie queried: "How do u pay that price at the checkout?" Kayleigh clarified: "The price will be the same as on the app along as you take that exact item to the till as items have different barcodes."

Shimmy sought confirmation: "So if you use that app will it be scanned at the till at that price? " Amy assured: "Yeah... The app just shows you things they haven't got round to marking down on tags."

Sherbet, who identified as a B&M manager, explained the discrepancy: "I'm a B&M manager. The reason things on the shelf are a different price is because the ticket hasn't been changed yet. We get a lot of price changes and some get missed. It will scan through the till."

Jen added more detail: "It's like having your own scanner lol new stock won't be reduced, it's the old stock, so you could have two identical tables but only one reduced as it scans the old barcode."
