Baby Elephant's Adorable Charge Delights Safari Park Tourists

A brave baby elephant charged at a group of tourists on safari in Kruger National Park in South Africa, then turned tail and ran back to the adult it was with as the group laughed with delight.

Alicja Wilczarska told Storyful she captured this footage from a safari vehicle on November 23.

In the video, the baby elephant is trailing behind an adult elephant when it turns to charge the safari vehicle. The tourists in the vehicle can be heard chuckling as the plucky pachyderm suddenly turns around and runs after the adult elephant.

In the version of the video that Wilczarska posted to TikTok, she said the elephant was trying to “protect family.” Credit: Alicja Wilczarska via Storyful
