Baby Reindeer's real-life Martha branded comedian Janey Godley as 'nuts'

Janey Godley has claimed to fans that she has also received messages from Baby Reindeer’s real life ‘Martha’ Fiona Harvey.

The Scots comic shared a video grab of Harvey's posts directed at her on X, formerly Twitter, that she received from 2016 to 2018.

Janey told her 293,000 followers: “Someone sent me this see the baby reindeer woman was tweeting me.”

The star, 63, then shared a video reel which featured a barrage of messages from Harvey's Twitter account during that time.

From December 2016 there were numerous posts directed at the comedian, including one that read: “I'm Sorry I missed your show at the festival. I got an ear infection and couldn't make it up.”

Another requested: “please dm me. It's pretty urgent.” And another said: “I saw you on TV at bin lorry time. You did appear a bit histrionic at the time but now I've seen some of your comedy.”

The messages also scolded Janey's infamous campaign against Donald Trump when he visited Scotland, saying: “The Scots have a hard enough time in England without all this Trump is a c. T nonsense. "You are being irresponsible. Now bed.”

In 2017, some of the posts took a darker turn, as one read: “i wouldn't believe a worfd that cvame out of Richard gadd or janey godleys mouth pals with bitter expertiencves of both both nuts.”

But in 2018, Godley appeared to be in the good books again, as she received a message in reply to a joke she'd posted which read: “This is funny. I've seen this before.”

And she then said of Janey’s interactions with former US President Trump: “I'm sure he's not giving a damn what she says. I quite like her but the trump thing is an obsession with her!”

After seeing the post, one of Janey’s followers commented: “My goodness ,she bombarded you with messages shame she hadn't something better to do than harrass you.” And another added: “Usually agree with your posts Janey but please ignore this woman she is very obviously unwell and I'm hoping she gets help rather than ridicule report n block .I also think Gadd is unwell too.”

Last week, Harvey, originally from Fyvie in Aberdeenshire, sat down with former Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan in an explosive TV clash on his YouTube channel.

In the hour-long show, Harvey spoke openly about being outed as Baby Reindeer writer and creator Richard Gadd's alleged stalker, and the inspiration for the character 'Martha' in the smash hit Netflix show.

She was grilled regarding allegations that she became obsessed with the Fife-born comic over a period of years.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Record on Monday, the Scots law graduate revealed she was fuming after her appearance on his YouTube Uncensored show made the host at least £250,000 already.

The interview has been watched by more than 11million viewers and will continue to make money for Morgan every time it is viewed on his YouTube channel.

But Harvey revealed she wants a bigger slice of the pie from the show’s revenue and will “settle for” seven figures.

Fiona said: “They offered me £250 and I asked if that was what they paid everyone and, if so, I wanted to see documentation to that effect.

“That documentation has not been forthcoming. I have not signed a contract for the interview and I will be seeking far more than a piddling £250. I'd settle for a million."
