"Every day's a new day and I'm learning so much more. She has been so chill, I've seen a whole new side I think of myself," the Canadian TV personality added.

"I've gotta say my wife Emely has been amazing. I didn't think I could love my wife any more than I do and having this baby has changed everything, it's gone to an entirely new level."

As Hudson then showed a family photo, Palmer responded, "This is my world right here, it's unbelievable. It's a blessing."

Hudson also asked about little Ella being a big baby, to which Palmer replied, "She was close to 9 Lbs, which in my family is not uncommon. I was almost 12 Lbs, which is big."

"The crazy part is, I have a great uncle who was 17 Lbs. It was the largest baby in Canadian history. So, I gave my wife Emely the heads-up early. We just kinda do big babies," he added.

"Ella, she's tall, she's beautiful and she's changing every day, kind of filling out," Palmer continued of the newborn.

Palmer's comments come after he confirmed his baby girl's birth in an Instagram post on Jan. 10, sharing an adorable photo.

"Our worlds have been forever changed… She’s finally here… ELLA REINE PALMER 💕 Our hearts are overflowing with love and gratitude…" he wrote.

In August, Palmer and Fardo exclusively revealed to PEOPLE that they were expecting their first baby together.

“I have two brothers and four nephews, so we are finally getting a female addition to the Palmer family!” Palmer told PEOPLE at the time. “Emely has always wanted a daughter and she is so maternal by nature, I’ve always known that she is going to be the best mom.”

“I’m so excited to share life with our daughter, take her on fun adventures and share with her the lessons this life has taught us,” Fardo shared.

“I know our daughter is going to walk all over me — she already has me wrapped around her finger!” Palmer added, admitting: “I’m a little nervous since I never grew up with girls in the house.”

Palmer and Fardo started dating in 2017 before getting engaged in Paris in July 2019. They quietly tied the knot in Connecticut in June 2020 after canceling their planned wedding in Provence, France due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
