Anne-Marie Duff has shared her hopes for her character in Bad Sisters ahead of the already-confirmed season 2.

The actress won a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress for the role of Grace Williams, with the Ireland-set Apple TV+ crime drama also earning the award for Best Drama Series.

Following her big win, Duff opened up about Grace's future.

"Maybe she ends up in Costa Rica," she joked to press including Digital Spy.

"Literally, who knows, it's quite interesting when you feel [...] on the precipice of something."

Whatever Grace will be up to in the second chapter, Duff thinks it's "thrilling" to not be quite sure where her character will land just yet.

"Let's see what happens, where she leaps," she said, adding that "it will be a very important moment to see what Grace does next".

The sisterly murder mystery, co-created by star Sharon Horgan, sees Duff's character Grace in an abusive marriage with John Paul (Claes Bang), a relationship that has taken its toll on her bond with her four sisters.

When John Paul passes away suddenly, the five women are targeted by life insurers who are determined to find out whether they were involved in his death.

In the winners' room, Duff also confirmed Horgan is on the picket line in LA amidst the ongoing writers' strike.

"I was just in LA, so she was on the picket line, very much so," she said.

"I think I can safely say that to you, but she was very much engaged with the strike."
