The nominations for Bafta’s 2021 British Academy Games Awards have been announced.

Naughty Dog’s acclaimed action-horror sequel The Last of Us Part II leads the pack with 13 nominations, the most ever awarded to a single game. It beats last year’s joint record holders Death Stranding and Control, both of which received 11 nods.

Japan-set samurai game Ghost of Tsushima is the next most nominated game, with 10 nominations, while indie roguelike Hades, available on the Nintendo Switch, garnered eight.

Among the other games to receive multiple nominations are Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Dreams, Fall Guys, and Cyberpunk 2077.

Voting is currently open for the EE Game of the Year Award, which is the ceremony’s only award to be voted for by the public. You can vote now by going here.
