Daniel Farke faces the media on Friday afternoon for his pre-match press conference. The Leeds United manager will take questions from television, radio, print and online journalists at Thorp Arch ahead of the Norwich City clash on Sunday afternoon.

Here is a run-down of some of the main topics on the agenda for the boss to address at the training ground today.

What lessons were learned from the first two games?

Leeds did the double over Norwich with a 4-2 aggregate score after their meetings in October and January. However, neither game was straightforward nor a procession for the Whites.

What lessons has Farke learned from looking back at those games? How will he adapt his game plan? What weaknesses did he see in the Canaries?

How are the walking wounded?

Connor Roberts did make his comeback in the last game with a cameo from the bench, but it will be worth seeing what Farke says about the right-back’s training week. He is one of those players, absent for much of the recent pain, everyone is pinning their hopes on the play-offs.

Patrick Bamford, bruised knee after a blow, and Daniel James, core muscles, were missing on Saturday and fingers are crossed they are back in training. Neither was ruled out for the season when Farke gave his initial prognoses for them, but they both spent longer on the sidelines than hoped.

A new midfield solution?

It would be fair to say the rotations Farke has cycled through in the engine room across recent weeks have not brought about the desired effect. Has he even considered, in light of all the goals being shipped, breaking up his central defence again?

It did not work out at Vicarage Road when he last separated Ethan Ampadu and Joe Rodon, but does he feel he is getting enough from his other midfield options? Is the stand-in skipper now needed to restore some order and protection further forward?

How does he exploit the Summerville double-team?

If, as recent evidence would suggest, opponents continue to double, or triple, up on Crysencio Summerville, how does Farke hope to exploit that? While it might kill the Championship’s Player of the Season as an option, it surely has to free up the threats around him.

Can the other three attackers around him be doing more to take advantage of those situations? What about Junior Firpo on the overlap?

How has the team been broken out of the cycle they were in?

Regardless of how well the team were training or how innovative Farke was at Thorp Arch, the team has not been producing results for six weeks now. With a clear eight days to prepare for Carrow Road, what has been done by the team to stop the rot?

Pictures were circulating of them attending a restaurant together, en masse, this week. Has extra-curricular bonding been important? What’s the mood been like in the camp?
