BANBURY United must win their final four games of the season and hope for a goal difference swing if they are to avoid relegation from Vanarama National League North.

The Puritans ended a run of 11 consecutive defeats as they battled to a 1-1 draw at home to King’s Lynn Town.

Jonny Margetts gave the visitors the lead just before half-time, however Birmingham City loanee Ben Beresford kept alive the Puritans’ slim hopes of safety when he equalised midway through the second period.

Kidlington lost 2-0 at Ware in Southern League Central Division, while Thame United were involved in a 3-3 thriller at home to AFC Dunstable.
