Will Poulter has revealed his interest in reprising his character from Black Mirror: Bandersnatch.

The 25-year-old portrayed computer programmer Colin Ritman in the latest episode of Netflix's techno-paranoia series, a mentor of sorts to the troubled lead character Stefan (played by Fionn Whitehead).

Chatting to Den of Geek about the potential of returning as Colin in future Black Mirror episodes, Poulter shared his enthusiasm for the idea.

"That's a very exciting notion," he admitted. "I would love that. Of course, that would be amazing. I would definitely like to reprise Colin, whether he will [return] or not, I don't know.

"That was a cool quality to him, that he had this ability to potentially time travel and had this sense of knowing and awareness that was, at times, a little bit unnerving and I've heard him referred to at times as being almost creepy.

"But then also quite kind of interesting in terms of how it plays into his relationship with Stefan, because in Stefan, he recognises a similar ability."

The spiky-haired Colin is neither alive nor dead, due to Bandersnatch's interactive nature, meaning that his re-emergence in future episodes would be plausible. Plus, he's a pretty fascinating guy to watch on screen, so why not?

Meanwhile, Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker has confirmed that the new episode contains Easter eggs for the forthcoming fifth season. Happy hunting!

Black Mirror is available to stream on Netflix.
