Bangor and Aberconwy general election 2024: constituency results in full
Claire Hughes has been elected as MP for Bangor and Aberconwy. The Labour candidate has been elected as new MP for the constituency, defeating incumbent Conservative Robin Millar.
As part of the redrawing of the political map of Wales for this election, which has shrunk the number of seats from 40 to 32 to make the constituencies more evenly sized, this seat is now made up of the whole old Aberconwy constituency, won by the Conservatives in 2019, as well as 40.9% of Arfon, a Plaid Cymru seat at the last election.
