Yahoo News Barbie’s Ryan Gosling gives BTS star "prized possession" from set
Barbie star Ryan Gosling has given K-Pop singer Jimin the official Ken approval.
The Hollywood star recently reached out to the BTS band member and offered him a very special gift.
Gosling decided to give the music star a prop from the movie set after being impressed by his fashion sense and seemingly his Kenergy.
The actor revealed one of the costumes he wore as Ken for the new Barbie movie, can also be seen on Jimin in a BTS music video.

Posting a sweet video message on the Barbie movie’s official Twitter account, Gosling explained the fashion connection.
"Hi, Jimin. It’s Ryan Gosling here," he began. "I noticed that your Permission to Dance outfit was the same as my Ken outfit in the upcoming movie Barbie.
"I have to give it to you, you wore it first - you definitely wore it best."

After complimenting the BTS star on his outfit choice, Gosling went on to reveal he’s going to gift him Ken’s guitar from Barbie.
"There’s an unspoken Ken code that if you bite another Ken’s style you have to give them your most prized possession," he remarked. "So, I hope you’ll accept Ken’s guitar as my humble offering.
"Besides, Ken doesn’t really play anyway, so it’ll be much better in your hands."

Greta Gerwig’s highly anticipated Barbie movie arrived in cinemas today (July 21) and has already received high praise from critics.
Margot Robbie leads the film in the titular role, with various other big-name stars featuring as alternative Ken and Barbies.
Marvel star Simu Lui, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse actress Issa Rae, Bridgerton’s Nicola Coughlan and Ghostbusters star Kate McKinnon all have roles in the pink-filled film.
Doctor Who’s Ncuti Gatwa also stars in the movie alongside his Sex Education co-star Emma Mackey.
