The Apprentice star Karren Brady has broken her silence on becoming a grandmother. The former managing director of Birmingham City F.C. opened up about her family in a rare statement.

It comes after her daughter Sophia Peschisolido announced she had welcomed her first child, a little boy, at the start of the month. Lord Sugar's aide was appearing on the spin-off show You're Hired following the winner being announced.

Karren, 55, was congratulated about her family news by host Tom Allen before revealing how her grandson was doing. "He is the most beautiful little boy in the world and my daughter is a natural mother," Karren gushed.

She added: "And mother and baby are doing so well and I'm so proud of her, and her family, and her husband and everyone's really well so it's great."

Sophia, 27, shared the happy news on Instagram. She posted a very sweet photo in black and white of her baby boy wearing a cute outfit that said "Welcome to the world".

She wrote: "Our son, never known a love like this 28/03/24.". Another photo showed Frankie Makin, her partner, pushing the baby in a pram in the hospital.

Sophia also told her fans: "Not been on my phone for ages but thanks so much to everyone who's messaged me. We are both doing good. Been in the newborn bubble."

Sophia is a model and influencer and is the oldest child of Karren Brady and her husband Paul Peschisolido, who is 52. Karren, also known as Baroness Brady since 2014, married Paul in 1995. They also have a son named Paolo, 25.
