BBC drama Wolf binge-watched by viewers, who are already asking for series 2

Iwan Rheon and Sacha Dhawan's on-screen chemistry was a big hit with fans, who want to see more.

BBC drama Wolf already has viewers calling for a second series after binge-watching the series online.

The six-part home invasion crime series – based on the first of Mo Hayder's Jack Caffrey detective novels – stars Ukweli Roach as DI Caffrey as well as Iwan Rheon and Sacha Dhawan as police partner DS Molina and DI Honey.

The final episode is due to air on Tuesday, 15 August at 9pm on BBC One, but the entire series was released on iPlayer on Monday, 31 July and many fans were quick to binge-watch to the end.

Rheon ad Dhawan's on-screen chemistry has proved a hit with fans, and despite the grizzly horror has not put viewers off.

One tweeted: "@sacha_dhawan and @iwanrheon masterful together, two great actors playing off each other’s inner psychopath. Wolf is awesome."

And one said: "I’m the same great show, great production, great locations, great acting, wonderful show case for Wales."

Another commented: "Wolf on BBC! Such a brilliant series! But we deffo need an outtakes reel of @sacha_dhawan @iwanrheon scenes because despite the dark story the humour was perfectly timed, how did they not laugh especially the Doctor Who scene!"

One viewer said: "Wolf on @BBCiPlayer is batshit, brilliant, and quite terrifying. Iwan Rheon and Sacha Dhawan are as extraordinary a duo as you'd expect, and Ukweli Roach is immediately a top tier TV detective."

Many admitted they had watched the series all in one go.
