BBC Morning Live star Rav Wilding has announced he has split from his wife of 12 years. The TV star candidly spoke out about his break up with TV producer Jill Morgan on social media.

The Crimewatch host, 46, wrote on Instagram: "For those asking questions myself and Jill amicably separated last year. Our focus is co-parenting our hugely loved and beautiful daughter."

The couple share a daughter, who was born in 2020. Rav found fame in 2004 when he started presenting Crimewatch while Jill produced Loose Women.

Before they married in 2017, Rav was in a relationship with Big Brother star and glamour model Chantelle Houghton. The couple separated in 2011.

Before his TV career, Rav was a soldier and a former police officer who served with the British Transport Police and Metropolitan Police Service. He also worked as a security guard at Harrods department store in London.

Rav revealed on Morning Live that he is dyslexic, dyspraxic and also had been diagnosed by Simon Baron-Cohen as autistic in a film broadcast on the subject.

Speaking to the Press Association, Rav revealed: "I've got this thing called dyspraxia, so I have a hand-eye co-ordination disorder. I'm dyslexic as well, but dyspraxia is kind of like dyslexia with your hands."

Rav continued: "My brain just does not work that way. And the only way I can do anything is if I can see it, visualise it, literally see it with my eyes, what I am supposed to do... It's just the way my brain works. It was kind of tricky."

Dyspraxia affects the planning and processing of movements and coordination as a result of brain messages not being accurately transmitted to the body, although the causes are not fully understood.
