Ellie Leach has shared details of her emotional reunion with Vito Coppola as she paid a visit to see some of the Strictly Come Dancing stars on tour while she travels up and down the country herself. The stars aligned on Thursday (May 23) as the BBC dance show's reigning champs were performing in the same city at the same time.

While Ellie is currently in Nottingham at the Theatre Royal where she is playing Miss Scarlett in the UK tour of Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter, Vito was in the East Midlands city for just the day as he and a number of his fellow pro dancers were performing right next door in their Strictly Come Dancing The Professionals tour.

Ahead of her own performance, Ellie managed to get herself a seat at the matinee show and was beyond excited to watch her former dance partner and former co-stars in action in their own show. Sharing a video of Vito on stage, the actress simply wrote on her Instagram Story: "@vitocoppola love you!"

Ellie, 23, then later shared an update as she made a post-show dash from Nottingham to London ready for an appearance on ITV's Lorraine on Friday morning (May 24). As she sat in the back of a car going from destination to destination, the former Coronation Street star opened up about how seeing the Strictly cast in action stirred up a few different emotions.

"I did got to watch the Strictly Professionals live tour this afternoon and it was amazing, as you can all imagine," she said. "It was just wonderful. They are incredible but as I was watching it, I just felt super, super emotional," Ellie continued.

"I think that I just, I know I always say it, but I just feel so lucky to have been able to be part of all that and it just made me feel emotional the fact that I had that experience and that I'm probably never going to experience anything like that again. So yeah, I'm just feeling super lucky to have had that experience but also really emotional that I'm never going to have it again. It makes me sad!"

But her smile widened as she spoke about seeing Vito do what he does best. "Obviously watching Vito dance, I could just watch any of the professionals, I could watch them all day but Vito, I just love him and it was so, so nice to see him," Ellie said before sharing how she was able to get Vito onto the Cluedo set for a visit.
