In the caption of the post, Fleur confirmed they'd named their daughter Nova and that she made her entrance "via squat position into the arms of my Husband and I on our living room floor," the new mum said.

Fleur has since been sharing updates as she navigates life a first-time mum and over the weekend, the singer and radio host was asking fans how they dealt with leaving their children when they were young as she shared how she'd left her little girl for the first time.

She wrote on her Instagram Story alongside a picture of her freshly manicured nails: "Big moment for me yesterday! I left Nova at home for the first time to go to my local nail salon. It's literally round the corner and I was only gone for an hour, but it was a HUGE moment.

"I sat in the salon looking at photos of Nova on my phone the whole time [crying laughing emoji]. I can't be the only parent who's felt slightly anxious when leaving their baby for the first time!"

Fleur was quickly sent many messages as she asked: "How do you deal with leaving home without your baby in the early days?" As someone admitted they "cried, called every 5 mins and ran home", Fleur replied: "Ok, not just me then!!"

As she shared more of the responses she got, Fleur later said: "Thanks for the support from so many of you. It's given me a real boost. Just to know it's normal and we all experience similar feelings." And it clearly worked as Fleur has since revealed she has returned to the stage for the first time since becoming a mum.

Alongside a picture of herself and her dancers, Aaliyah Sharnell and Li Li Hodge, the former X Factor star revealed: "While I was still pregnant, I received a booking to perform at a gig. It was touch and go as to whether or not I would do it because it would be so soon after giving birth.

"But this weekend, three weeks after having Nova, I decided I was ready to get back on stage and see how I get on. I was anxious being without our baby girl for a bit and my body definitely doesn’t feel the same, but surprisingly the energy took over. It felt amazing to perform with these incredible ladies who gave me good, positive vibes on stage.

"I was able to get out there, move my body, sing and do what I love and then get back to the little person I love with all my heart. I spoke to lots of you on my stories about Mum guilt and feeling anxious and it’s nice to know I’m not alone, we all experience it in some way, I’m told that it will get easier and a happy Mama means a happy bubba."

And her pals were quick to show their support. Former Strictly co-star Helen Skelton said: "You got this." Dancer and Dancing on Ice judge Oti Mabuse replied: "LETS GO!!!! 3 weeks what." It Takes Two co-host Janette Manrara simply posted a string of clapping emojis while This Morning's Dr Zoe Williams added: "Oh wow! Go you."
