Yahoo News BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice shares 'alert' as he declares love amid 'surreal' experience
Giovanni Pernice shared an 'alert' with his fans and followers as he was left basking in their support following the biggest show of his current tour. The Strictly Come Dancing star has been travelling up and down the country in his own headline show since January.
The dancer kicked off his Let Me Entertain You tour in Hayes at the Beck Theatre in mid-January and will continue performing with the show until the end of April when it will close on April 30 at New Victoria Theatre in Woking.
He won't have too long to rest until his back in rehearsals again as Giovanni's set to head out on the road again in June with his latest two-man show alongside Strictly judge and friend Anton Du Beke.

But over the weekend, it was all about Giovanni's big show at the London Palladium. The Italian star performed in front of a sold-out crowd which he has since described as a 'surreal' night. He took to Instagram with a video in which he could be seen basking in an extended round of cheers and applause.
With his back to the camera as he looked out to the adoring crowd, the Italian dancer said: "Long video ALERT. Watch this video only if you have a few minutes to spare. Don’t mind me, I’m just a bloke from Sicily, taking in that I have managed to sell out The London Palladium for another year with my OWN SOLO SHOW…"
He continued: "What a surreal night and amazing atmosphere. Thank you to every person who came along and made this such a special night. I love you all, G."
And it didn't take long for the compliments and support to come flooding in. @pollyjbird said: "Simply the best! Nobody does it better. From Strictly Theatre Co, to the cast and crew. All of you, take a bow. Last night- there aren’t enough words. Love you Gio." @magicroundabout57 wrote: "Feel the love! It was a phenomenal night! The standing ovation, the chanting was so deserved. Thank you Gio and cast for an evening to remember!"
@kym_with_a_y_not_an_i commented: "You’re just a bloke from Sicily that has become a bloody legend Gio. This show, your cast, the entire crew but especially you have been awesome throughout the tour." @warnerbecky_91 shared: "Deserved every moment of that- we’re so proud of you ." @mihocharles7 added: "It was soo special to be part of this amazing party. Congratulations, Giovanni! You are our champion and all your dancers musician and all the staff are all incredibly fantastic!!!!"
Giovanni had previously shared a post in which he thanked those who helped make the show happen. Alongside a picture, he penned: "With all the madness and emotion last night on stage I forgot to say probably the biggest THANK YOU of all ! Lizzie, @paul_stc and @strictlytheatreco who are the producers of all my shows since I started and the first two people who took a chance on me and made and still making all of this possible!! Love you guys and thank you."
