Giovanni Pernice has delighted fans with his latest update after revealing he will be 'taking a break'. The Strictly Come Dancing star is nearing the end of touring the country in his own show while fans await news of if he'll return to the BBC show's ballroom later in the year.

In the meantime, Giovanni kicked off his Let Me Entertain You tour in Hayes at the Beck Theatre in mid-January and will continue performing with the show until the end of April when it will close on April 30 at New Victoria Theatre in Woking.

But the dancer has reminded fans that he won't have too long to rest until he is back in rehearsals again as Giovanni's set to head out on the road in June with his latest two-man show alongside Strictly judge and close friend Anton Du Beke.

Giovanni's post confirmed the cast that'd be joining him and Anton on the tour, with Strictly co-star Lauren Oakley described as being a 'special guest' after she once again joined Giovanni as his 'leading lady' for his latest show after a busy end to 2023 as she got her first celebrity partner in the BBC One show.

Speaking of Anton and Giovanni Together - The Live Tour, Giovanni commented: "This is going to be epic. What a cast www.antonandgiovanni.com." And his fans and followers were quick to respond.

@clarkjaynelouise said: "Can’t wait." @kym_with_a_y_not_an_i commented: "Already booked to see this on more than one occasion. You have an incredible cast there. Can’t wait to see it." @louisemarriott77 replied: "Looking forward to this so much." @neenie2013 added: "Amazing. Can't wait to see you both again."

It comes after Giovanni appeared delighted to confirm that he has sold out The London Palladium for another year with his latest tour. The 33-year-old took to Instagram to announce the news to his 1.1 million fans as he thanked everyone who has attended his solo show so far.

Giovanni shared a video of himself and his backing dancers at the end of the stage as he was given a standing ovation with cheers and applause rumbling through the crowd. "Don't mind me, I'm just a bloke from Sicily, taking in that I have managed to sell out The London Palladium for another year with my OWN SOLO SHOW..." he said.

However, while his future on Strictly is still up in the air with the BBC yet to confirm its professional line-up for 2024, Giovanni has already confirmed he will be taking some time out next year after heading out on tour once more. Sharing the news on Instagram earlier this month, he shared a poster for 'Giovanni - The Last Dance' which will kick off on January 20, 2025, again in Hayes at the Beck Theatre before ending on May 4, 2025, at none other than the London Palladium.

"I have had a wonderful time this year on my solo tour and already looking forward to even bigger and better next year!" Giovanni started his post on Instagram. He continued to his 1.1 million followers: "After performing in front of over half a million people for seven years in row, I plan to take a little break after next year’s tour, so book your tickets in advance for ‘GIOVANNI - THE LAST DANCE’ now at www.giovannipernice.com.."
