Yahoo News BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice looks loved up with girlfriend and new addition amid allegations
Giovanni Pernice looked as loved-up as ever as he posed alongside his girlfriend Molly Brown and their new addition ahead of his first public appearance since more allegations have been made about his conduct on Strictly Come Dancing.
Last month the dancer rejected allegations that he displayed “abusive or threatening behaviour” while working as a professional on the BBC One dance show. The statement from Giovanni came amid reports that the BBC is looking into complaints about his conduct on the show.
In the statement shared to Instagram, the 33-year-old wrote: "To my dear fans, you will be as surprised as I am that allegations have been made about my dance teaching methods in the media this week. Of course, I reject any suggestion of abusive or threatening behaviour, and I look forward to clearing my name."

He continued: “Those who have followed my journey on Strictly Come Dancing over the last decade will know that I am passionate and competitive. No-one is more ambitious for my dance partners than me. I have always striven to help them be the very best dancers they can be.
"This has always come from a place of love and wanting to win – for me and my dance partners." Giovanni signed off the message by writing: "Thank you all once again for your continued love and support! Giovanni."
Amid the reports, the BBC made a rare comment at the end of last month (May): "It is a longstanding position that the BBC does not comment on specific matters related to individuals. Nor ordinarily, would we comment on whether we are reviewing any individual complaints.
"Recently, we have seen a number of media reports about a high profile show. We would urge people not to indulge in speculation. Anyone involved in a complaint has a right to confidentiality and fair process. If a complaint is made to the BBC, we assess and take any necessary steps to establish the facts, whether there is a case to answer, and, if appropriate, what action should be taken.
"This is all within the context of the BBC having duties of care to everyone linked to a complaint - that applies to those that have raised the complaint and to those that have been complained about. Whilst we know our shows have been positive experiences for many of those who have taken part, we will always look at any issues raised with care, fairness and sensitivity to everyone concerned. We will not be commenting further."
Amid the continued allegations, Giovanni was seen stepping out in London for a red carpet appearance at theMan And Witch premiere. He was all smiles as he cuddled up to his model girlfriend Molly in front of the cameras during the event at the Prince Charles Cinema in Leicester Square on Sunday (June 2).
He was also seen sharing a laugh with stars including actress Martha West on the red carpet and was described as being "chatty" with fans during the event as he appeared in a tailored brown suit before going arm and arm with Molly, who stunned in a black mini dress and elevated her long toned legs in stylish court heels.
She also took to her own Instagram Story where she shared a picture of the pair in the back of a car with their new family member looking cute in the middle. The couple confirmed they'd taken a fresh step in their relationship last month by getting their first pet, a dog named Roxy.
Molly revealed on May 21 that she and Giovanni had a ‘little arrival’. She first took to her Instagram Story with a picture featuring a paw print blanket alongside an array of toys. "Ready for our little arrival," she wrote with a dog emoji and a face holding back tears emoji. Shortly after, Molly returned with a picture showing Giovanni holding onto their new puppy, which appeared to be a Pomeranian. "Meet Roxy," she shared alongside a dog and pink heart emojis.
