BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Nikita Kuzmin unveils 'creative' new addition to his home

Strictly Come Dancing star Nikita Kuzmin revealed that dancing isn't his only talent as he shared one of his new home improvements. The professional dancer, who was born in Ukraine, was praised for his creativity by fans as he shared a unique clock he had created at his London flat.

The professional dancer keeps his personal life out of the spotlight, but he has posted a handful of photos of his modern home alongside his girlfriend Lauren Jaine, a 23-year-old model who is signed to First Model Management - although he hasn't confirmed whether they have officially moved in together.

Nikita, 26, bought a basic clock fixture with hands and then placed vinyl albums around it where the numbers on a clock would normally be. He shared a video showing how he created it on Instagram, writing: "Don’t like to measure things, just whack it and hope for the best."

His fellow Strictly star Vito Coppola was one of the first to give his seal of approval. He commented: "Very cool. Like it."

Sophielovesheridols wrote: "Love it Nikita you are definitely so talented as a creative person it’s a 10 from me." Amondob echoed: "I LOVE it!! It's so cool!"

Karenfranklin agreed: "I love it, Nikita, it's very creative." And ame.lia3641 added: "I love it nikita it is so creative!! X"

Nikita and his family moved from Ukraine to Italy when he turned nine, to support his sister's dancing career, but it was also the start of his own success. He went on to become a six-time Italian Champion in Latin and Ballroom, and later joined the German version of Strictly called Let's Dance as a professional dancer.

He joined the BBC show in 2021 and was paired with Gordon Ramsay's daughter Tilly, coming in sixth place. The next year he went home in week 7 after dancing with Ellie Simmons.

But he made it all the way to the finals last year with Layton Williams, narrowly missing out on the Glitterball trophy which was won by Coronation Street star Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola.
