BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Oti Mabuse shares video from daughter's hospital stay in message to husband with fans in tears

Oti Mabuse shared a previous video of her daughter's early days for the first time following her premature birth last year. The former Strictly Come Dancing star and her husband Marius Lepure announced they had become first-time parents on Christmas Day.

They took to Instagram with an adorable photo in which they wore matching festive pyjamas as they gazed lovingly at their baby girl alongside their beloved pet dog, Leo.

Oti later told how their daughter, whose name hasn't been shared publicly, had actually born prematurely in October. Their baby girl, whose name hasn't publicly been shared, arrived two months early which Oti said was a "big shock" and as the new mum developed sepsis, it meant their daughter - who was born two months early - was at risk of being infected when she was born.

Since announcing their daughter's birth, Oti has been sharing candid updates on life as a first-time mum as well as sharing how her little girl is progressing. And in her latest social media post, Oti shared a string of videos and photos of her husband with their baby girl as she marked Father's Day.

The first clip showed the pair cuddling their baby girl, whose name is being kept private, during their time in hospital. It continued to show Oti and Marius at home during their first Christmas as a family of three before more videos showed the couple enjoying special times together with their daughter in tow.

"Happy Father’s Day to the best father in the world, @mariusiepure!" Oti gushed alongside the post. "Your love, strength, and dedication make you the best dad and partner we could ever ask for. Watching you with our family fills my heart with so much joy and pride. Thank you for being our rock and always making us smile!"

The Dancing on Ice judge added: "Here’s to celebrating you today and every day! #FathersDay #BestDadEver #FamilyLove #Grateful #Blessed," before setting the video to the Luther Vandross track, Dance with My Father. And Oti's fans and followers were quick to respond with messages.
