Zara McDermott was left asking her fans and followers for their remedies as she told them of a debilitating issue that occurred while working on one of her latest 'goals'. The documentary maker recently revealed she's been getting to work on her next film.

In recent years, Zara has been fronting BBC documentaries on a variety of often very personal subjects for those involved, including exploring revenge porn, disordered eating and more recently the disappearance of Gaia Pope and a deep dive into Ibiza and the 'secrets of the party island'.

After teasing her next film, Zara took to social media with a beaming selfie alongside which she wrote on her Instagram Story: "I made a 'goals' list at the start of this year with my managers... Today I'm ticking off one of my goals," adding a string of crying and love heart emojis.

But prior to celebrating her latest move, Zara revealed how she was left having to take a different route between her working destinations due to her issues with travel sickness.

Sharing a snap of herself on the tube, the Strictly Come Dancing star explained: "The film crew had to drive to the other filming location because of the kit but my car sickness is so bad I asked if I could get the tube and meet them at the next location [crying laughing emoji]."

She continued to write in hope of getting some help: "What do you guys do to stop travel sickness? The bands don't even touch the sides for me! I have been known to throw up for up to an hour after I get out of the car. It's sooo cr*p!

"I remember once I was filming one of my documentaries and they got me a taxi to the location, which was only 30 minutes away, but it was the longest 30 minutes of my life and I ended up running into this poor girls house, barely saying hello, with my head in the toilet bowl for the first hour of the day [crying and crying laughing emoji]."

It comes just weeks after Zara shared a positive health update. The former Love Island star was left in pain last December when she fractured her tibia - one of the longer bones in the lower half of the leg.

Zara has occasionally worn a moon boot while out and about and shared footage of herself earlier this year sporting it when she was on holiday in the Canary Islands. And back in March, the 29-year-old shared that she might have to be operated on to help her injury heal.

Then at the start of this month, Zara told her fans and followers that she was heading for a scan and was hopeful she'd get some good news. Over 24 hours later and Zara was able to confirm the results - and it was good news. "GUYS MY FRACTURE HAS HEALED," she declared with a number of crying emojis. "I have never been so happy/overjoyed," she typed to her fans and followers. "I've been worrying for months that I was going to need further surgery. My consultant just said, however, that this is 'not a license to kill' [crying laughing emoji]."

She continued to explain that while she still can't run or take part in any 'contact sports'' for between another year and 18 months, she is able to go back to the gym - but only keep her training 'at 50 percent'. She then added: "See ya stress fracture. I am over the moon!"
