BBC Question Time coming from Stoke-on-Trent tonight

Long-running BBC debating chamber Question Time is coming from Stoke-on-Trent tonight. Filming will be taking place at undisclosed location in the city this evening (May 9).

The show - presented by news reader Fiona Bruce - will then be broadcast on BBC One at 11pm tonight. People were invited to apply to be in the audience with all the slots now taken.

The panel for the hour-long debate will be made up of treasury minister Nigel Huddleston MP; Labour’s shadow secretary for international development Lisa Nandy MP; author and politics and economics commentator Grace Blakeley; and chief executive of the PureGym chain Humphrey Cobbold.

Question Time is returning to North Staffordshire one year after it was broadcast from Newcastle-under-Lyme as the college's performing arts centre.

- Question Time will be shown on BBC1 after the 10 o'clock news this evening.
