These stunning images showcase the latest gem nestled on one of the UK's most scenic shores. Blackpool Sands unveiled its new cafe, lounge, and restaurant this month.

Patrons can now enjoy a beachside dining experience that promises a laid-back vibe amidst the breathtaking views of turquoise seas and the iconic cliffs, which are beautifully framed by pine trees cascading down to the pristine waters below, reports DevonLive.

The interior decor is an exquisite example of coastal elegance, boasting products from Devon's own Nkuku and the imaginative flair of a gifted local design team.

The venue presents a harmonious fusion of contemporary and seaside design elements. Utilising natural textures like wood and stone, the space is bathed in sunlight thanks to expansive glass doors, ensuring guests can savour unspoiled vistas of the sandy stretch and rolling waves.

Complementing the existing takeaway service, the new eatery offers a varied menu brimming with top-notch local produce, all while embracing the beach's commitment to reducing environmental impact.

Head Chef Sam Evans has crafted a menu that appeals to a variety of palates, with a spotlight on the sumptuous tastes of the West Country.

The culinary offerings range from the Blackpool Sands Seafood Thali to timeless Fish and Chips, Chicken Milanese, Dartmouth Crab, and the signature Beach BLT, each dish a tribute to the area's culinary treasures.

"We are thrilled to bring this new dining experience to Blackpool Sands," expressed Sam. "Our suppliers are our friends, and supporting each other showcases what we can achieve in Devon."

The Newman family, proprietors of Blackpool Sands, have collaborated with local hoteliers Charlie and Zuzanna Deuchar to revamp the beach's visitor experience.

Charlie Deuchar, who oversees operations at Blackpool Sands, said: "We aimed to create the ultimate beachside dining experience in South Devon. Our design journey focused on blending natural elements with modern comfort, ensuring that every visitor feels connected to the stunning surroundings while enjoying exceptional food and ambience."

Sir Geoffrey Newman also commented on the venture: "We're delighted to have the restaurant open once again to provide an incredible experience for visitors. They can relax in a beautiful setting, enjoy staggering views, and savour superb food. This project is also testament to our dedication to sustainability and the local community."

Blackpool Sands isn't just about dining; it offers a comprehensive beach experience with amenities like an outdoor sauna, paddle boards, sea kayaks, off-grid bird houses, and a shepherd's hut, perfect for soaking up the coastal atmosphere. The restaurant welcomes guests from 9am to 5pm and extends its hours to 6pm over the weekend.
